has anyone ever tried these?
a friend of mine, who recently started going all organic, recommended this to me. He says that taking synthetic supplements is bad, and that in order for any kind of vitamin to work, it must be taken with the vitamins that help balance it out...? the juice plus is capsules made of whole veggies and fruits, that you take in order to help your body with nutrients and overall health.
i am not sure on how much to believe and go by, considering i am not too knowledgable with the subject...it made sense but at the same time i wonder how true it is as far as the taking the supplement issue.
any comments?

I dont know anything about them.
As far as supplements go, i dont know, i take them because i havent been able to consume the amount of nutrients my body needs. I guess its more ideal to get nutrients from whole foods, but im of the belief (just an opinion) that healing sick bodies need more nutrients than healthy people, and it would be near impossible to consume enough nutrients naturally to heal.
Im not sure how true this is either, but i have heard that (at least in australia) soils are serioulsy lacking in essential minerals such as selenium, and its very difficult to get enough of that mineral through whole foods.
I know at least with B vitamins they are only really effective as a complex, so it pays to buy a decent B complex rather than an indivual B vitamin like B6.
As far as the capsules go your talking bout, makes perfect sense to me. I do take a natural source vit E rather than synthetic because its better for our bodies.
Do the capsules also cover minerals? not just vitamins, coz ive found personally that a multimineral supplement is more essential than any of the vitamin supplements, and i take a multimineral rather than a multivitamin, only adding in the vitamins i need, like a B complex, Iron, vit C, and vit E. Its working pretty well for me.
If you do try these, let us know how they go, might be the better option for sure.

well i did some google searches on this stuff, and it has good and bad reviews....i am not sure if it's worth the $180 or not...seems logical, but at the same time, can you really put that much veggies and fruits in a powder capsule form and have it significantly work still?
