So, plenty of things warrant their own thread, when we have ongoing issues/concerns etc, but now and again there are random questions that pop up as threads, so I figured why not have a thread dedicated to those one-offs that you just can't find the answer to? So this thread isn't designed for ongoing discussion, or advice, just little 'one-hit wonders', on any subject, not just endo or health. I'll get the ball rolling.
I've been trying to figure out for a while the whole xx day menstrual cycle thing. I track all my symptoms etc every day, starting from the day I get my period. My question is, if last month ends on say, day 27, then the new month starts on day 1. Does that mean I've had a 27 or a 28 day cycle? I.e. day 1 = day 28? Sorry if that's confusing, I just don't know how to work out my cycle length!

Day 1 is the first day of your period, so the last day before your period is the last day of your cycle. If I read properly, yes, you had a 27 day cycle! (I used to be confused about that, too, until I started using an online cycle calculator to track ovulation/periods/etc.)

Lol, I knew you'd have the answer! That was an example, this month it was 28 days, so day 29 as such actually became day 1, which means I had a 28 day cycle, right? How cool is THAT!

Yes, day 29 is day 1, so you had a 28 day cycle. Quite 'regular'!

Random question: How do I upload my picture to this site? I understand that I have to do it from my account profile but I don't understand how to link a picture? It won't let me pull one from my computer.

It has to be from some website. If you can find a pic of yourself on the web somewhere, right click, select 'copy image location', and paste that url in the account profile area. Voila! It always takes me a few tries... Good luck!

Tomorrow when I can use a computer instead of my phone (which I'm doing now lol) I'll post step-by-step instructions. It would be cool to see everyone's faces!

Thanks Jenaya because I need major help when it comes to the picture on the profile thing. I went to shrink images and made an avitar which worked on here for a day and then it went to an advertisement thing instead of my picture. I can't figure it out for the life of me and I want to upload a freaking picture lol.

Ok I have a dumb question and you are all free to laugh at me.
But WTF is the difference between a soy nut and a soy bean? And which one is used to make all those soy products like tofu, soy milk etc.? Annnnnnnd are they both bad for the endo diet?

Soy nuts are made from soybeans soaked in water, drained, and then baked or roasted. They can be used in place of nuts and are high in protein and dietary fiber : )
Isn't all soy bad for the endo diet? I have been avoiding soy all together. Everytime I ate soy I had an issue so I stopped it all together.
