The Boobs are interesting aren't they? Mine had gotten all old and saggy, and then I went on the Estrogen and Va va voom! Only drawback is the pain that I also had in my breasts. Felt like they were on fire. Glad that menopause has been a mild transition for you! Have a wonderful Christmas Keri!!

Hi girls! Hope everyone is well & staying strong. I have lots to update. I have all kinds of new accessories for my body. Lets start first with my second fight with sepsis. Yes again. I came very close even closer than before. My heart has some damage but I am alive & was strong enough after a stay in ICU to get my surgery. My colon is bad does not work many different reasons have been thrown around endo, adhesions, ect.. bottom line it needs taken out. Cleveland Clinic did all the testing & my surgeon is amazing. I had sugery about two weeks ago for a 3 month illeostomy & it is working great. Adjusting to it & my stoma is a little spoiled lol takes a few extra steps to make it looking perfect. I am allergic to tape & have some skin issues but other than that I cant complain. My feeding tube was inserted on my left side. Its a liitle more of a problem. It works tho &:if I cant eat by mouth it feeds me. I am Alive! A few hours after getting out of recovery I was up putting on makeup & begging for a dress lol. I was up walking the next day. I spent 15 days in the hospital but made the best of it. Cleveland offers art therapy, reiki, pet therapy. Each helped me heal & if anyone reads this and had a opportunity to try any of these please do it. It is such a amazing healing & recovery. My nurses were such a great support!
I am getting strength for my next surgery it is a series if three to fix me. I will have my colon taken next then heal & get a reversal and hope to live a normal life. I do know I have a little journey ahead of me not everyday will be easy but I have made it this far. Never give up girls!I thought this time was the end. When I went septic I could here nurses in ICU supporting me to encourage me to not give up. We need that to keep going. Support from friends, family, this board, doctors, nurses so many people to thank. I am still here because of support. Life can only get better. Living with a stoma takes a few extra steps. My wardrobe is lots dresses yes I have alot of those lol. Loose clothing works best. I still wear my heels & wedges too;) I do not want to say it is easy but life isnt easy ever is it? I can do it tho. If I have bad day I rest if it is a good day I make it the best. We never really know when it could be our last.
