What is it though? I only have an iPod and iTunes but it seems to involve iTunes

Well now we know...its the full release of all Beatles albums to iTunes, as they were not previously granted to do so by Ringo or Paul. That was the #1 speculation that I read, and Steve Jobs is a huge Beatles fan and we all know Beatles, for many, symbolizes music. I think its pretty cool, but it doesn't mean much for me since I already have all their albums anyway

Haha I see now! Same here. I'm only just getting into the Beatles now but my sister has a collection and I've been dipping in. Living in their home city it strangely has gone over my head til now, I'm only just appreciating their genius. I don't like Ringo Starr he comes off so pompous Shall we make this over into a Beatles appreciation thread?

Lets keep it dual purpose...Beatles/Apple since it pertains to both. And I love both besides What got me into the Beatles was seeing the movie A Hard Day's Night...its one of my all time favorite movies ever!

So naturally I have had a PC for 4 years and would like a laptop now as my sister and I get into arguments over spending time on it, plus it's well overdue to be replaced. Is it true that a Macbook is much better than buying a windows laptop? I am fine with paying more if it's a premium for quality etc I don't think I've seen Hard Day's Night, though I remember Yellow Submarine *hangs head in shame* I think I have to hit the Beatles tour!

I have a MacBook Pro and I absolutely love it to death. I had an iBook G4 for four years, and I just bought this one now in May. It was considerably more pricy than buying a Dell or Toshiba, but I tell you, the things this computer can do amazes me constantly. Next summer they are coming out with a new OS. Right now I have OSX Snow Leopard, and Lion comes out in June or something. And they just came out with iLife '11, which I'll update to from '09 when I update to Lion. I also have the new iPod Touch that has Facetime, multitasking, etc. I love it. As you can see, I'm a Mac freak, so I'll always recommend it

Wow. Cool. I love my iPhone and iPod and have been considering getting an iPod touch instead of my IPhone. But seeing this makes me want to get a Mac!!

OH MY GOD - someone mentioned "A Hard Day's Night." It's one of my faves, and so is "HELP!" Cracks me the eff up. Mom's great musical taste rubbed off on me.

Hard Day's Night is one of my all time favorite movies. Help was pretty funny too, but much of it I didn't understand because of all the drug influence
