Today is not a good day at all and I'm nauseous on top of it all = angry face. This is the first time I've had pain that was so focused on the centre of my body, so all I can say is 'f*ck you lady parts' That's my trucker mouth. Unlike our lady KSA, it takes me no effort at all to start with the trucker mouth, haha!

Me too, I'm afraid it's gonna get stuck like as I've had it on for a good 4 weeks. I'll end up looking like my mother, hahaha!

I think the day I stop trying to joke, I won't have a pulse. That's a good sign that I'm not turning into a complete bitch.

Thinking about you Cherry! Laughing and joking always help me too. At the worst of times I usually have a smile on my face.

I was doing really well and managing mind over matter, picking up my nephew or spending 2 hours doing my sisters hair. But I fell down some stairs on Saturday night, set it all off again. Grrr.

Cherry sorry to here about you falling downstairs and the pain getting set off again. I saw that you kept mentioning how swollen you were. I've been getting swelling on my left side just under my belly button and it spreads down along where my underwear sits, around my hip into my back and sometimes goes into my ribs. I did go to the ER a week and a half ago but they just said it was a bladder infection!! I'm only on anti-inflammatories no pain meds at all!! You said you like using your hot water bottle, does it soothe the pain?? I'm scared it would make the swelling worse. Hope things get better for you!!!

Aww Keri I'm so proud, and kinda feel bad at the same time because your immaculate manners are so admirable haha! I should add that I kinda deserved to fall cos I'd spent literally 10 minutes almost wetting myself laughing at a poor girl who'd fallen over about 4 times in front of me. Karma is fair, but it was hilarious. It's settling again today muffin I had docs trying to tell me I had a bladder infection, most didn't examine me because it's too much effort to request a chaperone... they just went off a trace of blood in my urine sample which they knew could be due to endo given my past surgeries finding it on my bladder... I guess my point is, if you feel it's not just that, keep pushing for further investigation. You deserve proper care! I take anti-inflammatory painkillers, I don't react well to opiates. Let us know how you are! I'm off voltarol suppositories as they gave me terrible acid reflux and stomach pain. I'm just glad I'm using my noodle and trying to meditate through it. I can't tell my family because the diagnosis is not definite and they all panic horribly about this stuff. In Bengali culture (as with many), baby making is a big thing.

Ok so, according to the lady I just saw 'could be a whacking great endometrioma'. Again ,no examination but I have an ultrasound in 3 weeks and go back to see her.

What lovely terminology. Let me guess, she got that straight out of a medical book? Ugh, do they not have the same sense of urgency as you??

This is stupid but that's what they call an urgent follow-up! I think she was just being the old 'down to earth' type whereas I was using a lot of medical terminology and told her what I had surmised of the different theories. We had a good laugh at my GP who thinks PID is only caused by infected cuts and raging sl*ts. I even told her I used to be a right little goer (used protection of course) and only started getting BV when I was with my boyfriend of 5 years. Irony. I'm happy to have something done as opposed to being fobbed off but really I wish it was quicker. I'm being referred for the millionth time to a pain clinic and my GP has upped my dose of voltarol and given me the top dose of lansoprazole to protect my stomach from the gastric effects. I am not looking forward to my sickness record in the meantime, the symptoms are so unpredictable. So now I'll go look up endometriomas. She decided upon that as the cause due to the terrible hip and leg pain.

Well, at least she's looking into things! I can't remember - you haven't had an U/S recently, this will be your first one with this string of issues?
