Well, ladies, it's official... We've hit 2000 members to date! Kind of sad that 2000 people are affected by endo enough to sign up, but on the flip-side, it means none of us are alone throughout all of this. A big thanks to Carolyn for starting ER years ago! So, let's do a quick check in to celebrate! Share what country you're from, how you stumbled across ER, and the most important thing you've taken away from the site. And you lurkers that pop in from time to time but don't post? Yeah, we want to hear from you, too!

YAY!!!!
From America, I stumbled acrossed ER when doing a search to figure out what in the heck was wrong with me. I found the main page (not the forum) and read the symptoms and IT WAS ME!!! FINALLY!!!! So I loved the page and hand to join the forum. And what did I get from it? I got a place with answers, lots and lots of different answers. Treatments, support, laughs, procedures, etc. etc.
This board seriously changed my lie.

Shannon, Wisconsin Mum found it for me after dealing with 6+ years of endo and having no success with anything. She found the diet, downloaded the PDF book, and subsequently found the board. Its been the one of the greatest assets in my fight against endo yet

From USA, found ER (Carolyn's main site) when I was frantically looking for something more in depth about endo. Most websites just have the basic textbook definition of endo, but each one had a little bit different info so I was hoping to find a place with it all. I was finally brave enough to check out the forums, and voila! Best thing by far I've taken from here is the friendships and the info.

Washington DC, USA! I found this googling endometriosis because I was diagnosing myself since my stupid doc was clueless. After I read all the stuff posted, I was convinced I had it, looked for an endo specialist, had the lap and was diagnosed. The whole process was done with the girls on this board as my cheerleaders. I went back and read my very first intro post. Everyone was so nice to me!

sunshine; somewhere in Tornado Alley, USA. Came here looking for advice, after a P.A. decided to actually read my chart, and referred me to a specialist.
I've gotten lots of info, advice, and have ideas for alternative treatments, for when I get sick of stupid birth control. OH, and plenty of laughs, which helps, a lot.
