In the words of the great, late John Lennon: I'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink. I'm so tired, my mind is on the brink.
Every time I feel this way, I think I can't possibly be more tired, and somehow, the next time I am. And I actually slept last night - the first real sleep since Thursday (woo-hoo!).
It seems no amount of Vitamin B or caffeine (yes, I know I'm not supposed to be drinking it) helps. I feel like I could sleep all day, but I won't. I'll lie down, I'll try, but I'll wake abruptly every 20 minutes or so and feel worse when I finally give up.
Please tell me I'm not the only one....

you arent the only one! lol. last night was awakened by endo at 2:30 am, stayed up until 6 am trying to have a bm, no luck, rolled around with my heating pad for a couple hours, then had to sleep until 10 just to be alive enough to come in to the office.... if it's not pain, it's lack of sleep that's my view. damn stupid mean sleepless endo! why you gotta be such a jerk? lol I'm so sleepy, I'm silly. you're not the only one....

Ever since I went on my Depo shots I have to take sleep aids to sleep at night, yet during the day I have to take a 2 hr nap every day. Its so frustrating. But interestingly enough, 2 of the side effects of Depo are chronic fatigue and insomnia, and I got both. I've never been this way before and if I don't take some type of sleeping pill at night, I am up the whole night and just a miserable wreck the rest of the week. I've also read that women who have Endo are 100% more likely to develop chronic fatigue syndrome than the average woman. Which totally makes sense. Our muscles are constantly working with all the cramping going on amongst other things and we get mega worn out from it.

I had a similar problem for a long time... It sucked! Turns out in my case, it was due to all the stress in my life and my body wasn't able to cope with it anymore. My new doc tested my cortisol levels (which is the hormone that helps you cope) and mine were way off. It can seriously affect your sleep! I'm certainly not implying that's what's going on with you, but if any of this sounds familiar, it's at least worth talking to your doc about getting your levels tested: cjlevett.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=related&action=display&thread=3951

I am also a suffer of lack of sleep. once or twice a week I am up till 5am, don`t know why that is the magic number on the clock, but it is really frustrating, but then the next night I will sleep like the dead, but getting threw the day after that lack of sleep is hard, I have a three year old at home and he doesn`t understand why that day I can`t do anything, because I am exhausted.
on friday I was so tired from being up all night, that I actually slammed the van`s sliding door on my finger. I didn`t think that was possible, but I did it. I was so angry at being so tired that I did that stupid move. now I have a trobbing finger that is black and blue, and I will probable lose the nail. ugh, endo effects in so many ways.....
