I just experienced this tonight for the first time in my life. I was having my usual pelvic pain which was hurting pretty bad but then the back of my legs my hips started feeling like they were on fire. I'm not 100% positive that it is sciatic nerve since I have never felt sciatic nerve pain but it was pretty painful. Had my fiance give me a message and it did seem to help. It still hurts but much better. Anyone ever get answers from their doctors about this? I have an appointment tomorrow so I will be bringing this up along with the extreme virtigo I have been having lately. Grrr this disease sucks.

I've got these issues as well. I do stretching, but not as much as I should. I'm really feeling it today in my hips.

Hi! I also suffered from extreme cramps in my right leg and hip. It was worse the week before, during and after my period. I read on the internet that wheat is inflammatory and deduced that if there was endometriosis on or around my sciatic nerve, eating wheat could make it worse around my period. I cut out wheat immediately and have not had one leg cramp since! That was 5 months ago. I hope you find some relief soon!

I have severe sciatic pain.. mostly in my back, hips, and legs. When I sit for a period of time (i.e. for a 40 minute class), I am practically paralyzed when I try to get up. My tailbone practically broken and I have to ease myself up and limp along. WHen I have pain in my lower back and buttocks, my boyfriend uses a very rudimentary pressure point technique, and though it hurts at first.. it feels SO MUCH BETTER after
