RAVE!! I'm SO proud of my man!

I'm busting with happiness for my Fiance so I'm going to rave about it!! HAHA

He hates his job. His boss is a TOTAL jerk. Ex #1: My fiance isn't allowed to text me during the day because he's wasting company time (legit, I get it), HOWEVER, his boss then goes into his office and texts his wife all day while playing on facebook! Ex #2: My fiance was super sick and went home early, his boss kept saying he was a big baby. Then the next day told my fiance that he fell asleep in his office for like an hour!! So he hates his job and it makes him crabby, which he then takes out on me when he gets home (we talked about it, and not so much of that lately though).

ANYWAY...he got a new job today!!!! It's for a florist/bridal shop here is town! haha girl job right? but can we say WEDDING DISCOUNTS!!!! He will be working with two other people (a girl he's grown up with, and her mom). He's also good friend with the girl's husband. So it's totally layed back. The hours are awesome (11-5:30), (9-4). they give him a cell phone, he gets to use his creativity and it's a great family atmosphere.

The only downside is it's about a $2 an hour pay cut (In about a month I should have a $1.50 raise so it evens out). But if he can be happier, I can definatly deal with some sacrafices.

He's officially had the job for about 38 minutes and our whole house is already more relaxed!

Aw, that's great! I used to work in a flower shop a few years ago and it was kind of fun, you usually get people when they are at their best and happiest. How cool!

So when does he start?

he's giving a two week notice, however I can't promise he'll stay the whole 2 weeks. Things are VERY touchy at his work right now and at this point he doesn't need to put up with it anymore. His boss will ask for a month, however the ironic part is when he started there, they made him start a week early if he wanted the job (which cut his 2 week notice for his old employer down to one week).

lol sort of sunshine. A co-worker came over last night to fill him in on what happened yesterday (the day after he quit), basically they are super sucking up to this guy and giving him everything he's asking for (although he's waiting to hear back on another job and he's quitting too), they lost my fiance and are hiring 4 people to replace him (2 full time and 2 part time), they are getting a ton of new equipment that will make their work easier (one of his major complaints was always not having the right tools to do the job they expected them to do), and overall they are just talking a TON of crap about him all day.

Oh well...he's done there now.
