Can you believe this crap?? American health prices for procedures are so outrageously expensive that health insurance companies are starting to outsource our health care to other countries! Their logic?!?! It's actually cheaper to buy a plane ticket and fly to Europe and pay for surgeries there than it is to keep a person here in the U.S and pay some American doctor for the same procedure. I'm pretty appalled by this. Seriously WTF?!? Here's the CNN article if you all are interested. www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/04/26/cheaper.surgery/index.html

Actually, now that I think about it, I can fly to the UK and hang out with Helen and Cherry AND get a lap done! HAHAHAHAH Maybe this isn't such a bad idea afterall!

Wow. I realize insurance companies are there to make a profit, but they've really turned our health care system into such a mess that prices are through the roof. A friend's in-laws traveled out of the country for both hip replacements as it was much cheaper and the care was presumed to be better. I think it'd be hard for me to do, personally, but I can see why others would! Can you imagine going through an airport a few days after a lap? Ugh!

Although thanks to "recent government healthcare changes" my insurance premium is going up 19% next month!!!! 19%!!!!! W...T...F...
I already pay well over $100 for my insurance each paycheck (every 2 weeks), and now I need to pay an extra $30 a check. UGH.... thanks ObamaCare, I appreciate it.
