Ok so I am back from a another hospital stay. I woke up last week with a headache that was horrible, fever, could not walk. My doc sent me off to ER to get tested for menengitis. WOW I have had a ton of procedures but a Spinal Tap is one I never want again! It came back negative but I was so sick they kept me in the hospital saying I had a gastro viral infection. A few years ago I had something similar happen and I had a gland in my stomach that was swollen the messentary gland I was told at that time it is rare when this happen and my gastro doc said he doubted it would ever happen again. BTW this is all before I found out I had Endo on bowels and bladder, uterus. Guess what it is the same virus! I have a history of strange and rare problems. I just can't believe AGAIN this is happening. I am home now but still not able to keep food in me. It runs right out. I am on zofran but its not really helping. I see doc 2morrow. While in there they also found a spot or deposit on my brain that need further investigation. MRI set up for next week. They did a CT scan and said yes we found this but it does not have to do with this particular problem. My neurologist is worried not so much about the spot but what is under it. A possible tumor or something else that could cause problems if it bursts. I was doing so good! Now this...

Aw Keri I'm so sorry about your being ill after what you've been through. The possible tumour is a horrible whack in the but and I hope to god that it's nothing. I really don't know what to say but we're all here for you. You're such a sweetheart, this really isn't fair. You're hot but hospital gowns are not a good look

What a GREAT Idea. Those hospital gowns are horrible they need a few adjustments for the fashion diva's out there. I mean you already feel the worst you can do they have to make you look the worst too! LOL I would go with pink of course. I am keeping positive and ready for anything at this point. I wonder tho if my Endo on my bowel is causing all this gastro stuff. I saw doc today and she said no way to be sure but all of us that believe Endo is auto immune. She is right on board with us and said sorry to say but the viral infection will hit me worse because my immune system is not up to par because of my endometriosis. Since I work at the library and in the public she informed me this is not a isolated issue I will prob have more hospital stays then most.

I saw something on the news recently, some big designer has recently designed cool new gowns for the NHS. Hang on, I have to Google this. Ben de Lisi, here you go: news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8505625.stm

Go on etsy.com - I'm sure you can find someone to make one for you! Keri, I'm not quite sure how you keep a positive attitude - I'm so amazed at how strong you are. I'm sure you'd rather not have to hear that (because it means you'd be well), but still - it has to be said! Hugs!

What the hell Keri!? You get sick so much! I feel so bad I'm sorry. Did it cross your mind that it could be endo in your brain? Wouldn't that be crazy?? I really hope everything is ok. I'm so worried.

I got my MRI results and the spot is a calcium deposit. Most common sympotoms are severe headaches or migraines which I have. Some people with brain calcification may not show any sort of symptoms. I am one that does. Studies are being done on if calcium deposits are a sign of Alzhtimers and Dementia. My doc did not want me to worry about that tho. I do have family history of the disease and he said we would keep a eye on the the deposits to see if I get more. Funny thing is most of the time calcium on the brain is found in older people 50 to 60 years of age. I am 34 so again another weird thing for me. LOL! I am glad this is all it is. Jenaya when you said ENDO on the brain I would be in every medical journal for that. I guess it is so rare I looked it up and found 2 cases. You prob have access to more with your databases. You know when I was reading up on it tho headaches and a varity of my issues are how the women found out about the endo. I wonder tho it says the MRI is what detected the endometriosis on the brain. How can it detect it on the brain but not anywhere else? I would love more info and reasearch on that Jenaya if you can get it please post it. Thanks everyone for the concern and thoughts.

Thanks for posting an update, Keri! Glad it's something along those lines rather than something more nasty. I'm assuming it'll just left there as is?
I hope you're feeling better these days!

I'll look it up. That's an interesting question! I wonder how they diagnose it on the brain! I'll get back to you.
