I have a freaking piece of furniture in front of it, purchased precisely to hide it from her, but she's still able to get her bad-ass little paw behind it and piss me the f*ck off! I swear to god she's just like a little kid. Sometimes I've seen her scratch, look in my direction to see if I'm paying attention, then scratch again if I'm not... She's taking a nap at the moment. I might just have to mess with her. Oh man this made me laugh so hard! I can just picture her little paw and then the little sneaky eyes peering in your direction. LOL!!

I'll have to try the vicks vapor and the orange stuff in my cat's favorite pee spot. I'll wave some vicks in her face to see how she reacts. In the mean time, here's a new pic of the prissy puss for your viewing pleasure. LOL Attachments:

Yes kitty pictures! She was made to be photographed wasn't she! I mentioned a while back that Lily likes to chew and rub her cheeks on my fake Christmas tree, like Karen's girl Baxter. She's a crazy Christmas minx as she also loves the lights, last year I put them on the floor and switch them on to check for broken bulbs, go to find a replacement bulb and come back to find this: Attachments:

Jenaya - your note said your cat is peeing in your house - have you taken her to the vet? It could be a renal issue and she could be sick, not doing it to be bad. You might want to get it checked out - renal issues are very common in cats. I have had many cats and I have never had 1 that just pees just to be bad - it's always a medical issue. I'm not sure if vicks is the most healthy thing for cats to be smelling either - I think a spray bottle is a better route than hurting their sinuses with vicks - that's gotta totally burn their little sensitive noses. Oh yes I've been down that route. If you go back to about page 5 on this thread you'll see all the drama I've been through with her on this issue. lol We are thinking in January we'll take her back and have a full urinalysis and blood work up just to be sure. We just don't have the $500 right now to cover it

both of you have beautiful cats, or very photogenic. when they are that good looking they get away with more, at least that is what I say to my dogs, `your lucky your cute`....

Ah! Sorry, I didn't read that far back. I switched to giving my cat only bottled water, she was diagnosed with renal issues and by changing her food and giving bottled water her levels returned to normal! Maybe worth a shot. I only give her bottled water too and we switched her food to that urinary health stuff. I think the reason she's still doing it is because the scent is still there. So I think the plan is to find something that makes her avoid her little pee spot, then eventually just take her to the vet for a full work up.

Yes, she has scratching posts, mats, pads, etc - anything she wants to scratch! She scratches metal just for pure annoyance... It used to be the bathroom mirror until the metal panel was put in after some shower work...
And no worries on the vaporub-got that tip from a vet. I certainly wouldn't ever put it ON her, but a mere 3 feet away from her & she gets the idea.

Anyone want a cat named Baxter? Free to a good home!
Now she's scratching the walls. It's not a sharpen-the-claws kind of scratch but a ooh-look-how-much-noise-I-can-make scratch.

It's not necessarily a smell that I can smell, I think its faint enough where I don't smell it but the cat does. I can't smell anything at all. But since the cat can still smell her scent there I think that's what's making her pee. On and I tried the baking soda peroxide thing too

Aw poor baby! How sad! I used to have a calico named Ginger. She was a stray my dad brought home when I was a kid. She got really sick too and had to be put down. I'm guessing she had cancer or something. She got super thin and then stopped eating. She was just a little bag of bones

you never know what smells will bother cats, my mom said the other day when I visited her I put my mitts on the table. I have dogs. And my parents cat spent two days sitting on the table smelling where my mitts had been.
Next story about my dog Niko who chews and distroys things when left alone....So I had to go out for three hours so I had my husband take the back seat of my van out, and I took niko with us to stay in the van so that he wouldn`t do any damage, but I wanted him to have room to stretch out in the van. All went well. Later in the day I went to pick up my daughter at school - 20 minutes max, and thought that since it was such a short time, that Niko could stay in the yard without causing to much trouble. well I didn`t figure that he would chew the van seat that was sitting in our yard from the morning.....ugh, so Ironicly he chewed the van seat in my back yard, but has yet to chew anything in my van.....Haha on me.

So, our dog Dax (see pic of him perving a few pages back), got attacked today. He's fine, not as bad as we first thought, but still scary!! Basically, some stupid guy had his dog off the lead and he jumped Dax and latched onto his face - the vet said he was really lucky to have kept his eye, as the other dog bit so close to it. He is on painkillers and antibiotics but no stitches in case the cuts get infected.
Poor thing, we're calling him Scarface now! Although he's loving all the extra attention!!
