I think I last posted a couple of months ago... Haven't been even lurking on the site, because for some reason the web firewall at work suddenly decided EndoResolved counts as 'pornography' and thus blocked (...not sure, was that the effect of the horny rant!?! Or perhaps just any anatomically correct description of female bits?). Anyway, since the time I get to surf the web was largely limited to quiet night shifts, that sort of put paid to it. And anyway work got stupidly busy for the past few months ('nother story...), so no down time.
Was really feeling like I'd gotten to know you guys a bit, so wanted to say I missed you all! How're ya doing?
I am on my own again (hubby having gotten back from Antarctica in one piece, gone to work up north to make some coin, then headed out west to climb more mountains...), and am sort of coping with an excess of my own company.

Hey - good to see you back on! Glad to hear your hubby got back safe and sound. Hope it was a good 'reunion'! Funny about ER being labeled 'porn'. Ah, ff only endo was really all that juicy and sordid! How've you been feeling lately?

...Clearly I'm just not meant to connect on this board - another crazy couple of weeks at work, and what with stumbling home in the wee hours and hauling ass back again early in the morning, home computer time is at an all-time minimum. And yeah, ER is still 'porn' at work. Sigh.
So - thanks for asking, I'm doing ok. Hubby is away climbing again; I miss him badly and am not dealing too well with being alone, but have evidently filled all my waking hours with work (er, that wasn't on purpose, my boss still thinks I don't work enough... idjit). Emotional wreck, well concealed behind hopeful makeup. Pain comes and goes, I am trying to be as active as I can, and think frequently of the New Year's challenge (even though I am waaaay behind you guys!).
One of the things I'm frantically working on is scientific research on pain/inflammation molecules - my own work is not directly in relation to endo, but there's a little piece of my back brain that socks away new data thinking 'this might help solve the unending bellyache one day...'. Hopefully that's not too bombastic a hope.
I did catch up on some of the recent pages, and noticed several of you guys have just been though a whole lot of life upheavals. Hugs and strength - you are such beautiful people. Sadly we never get everything we ask for in this life, nor everything we deserve; but surely it all evens out in the end, and good things will be coming your way.
I'm likely to be only a lurker, the way my life is going these days; but I'll be thinking of you. Will post if I can.

Hey it's definitely good to hear from you! That research project sounds really cool. I hope things get better for you with work and the pain. We'll always be here when you decide to pop up so no worries with us!

I'm excited for your progress in the research as well! It may not have direct implications to endo just yet, but in time all this stuff will get pieced together and progress will be made! And don't feel like you need to be on here all the time to remain a member - we'll still be nice to you if you're absent for a bit.
