Ok, so inspired by Gem, I'm gonna try to include some more photos. Since wedding pics seem to be the order of the day, here's one of my husband and me dancing (the only time we've EVER danced because the man hates to dance!): Us getting married (that's my dad marrying us--he's a minister, so getting married is really easy!) and us on a freezing cold bike ride one day

thanks, ladies! yep, there is lots of hair.
The funny thing is, I kept being diagnosed with red hair instead of endo. I can't tell you the number of gynecologists who have told me some version of, "redheads are just more sensitive to pain/have a lower pain tolerance--there's nothing wrong with you other than your low pain threshold" or "you're bleeding so much on the bc pills b/c you're redheaded--we'll have to put you on a really high estrogen pill". I think that's part of why I was so relieved to be diagnosed with endo--something was really wrong, other than my hair color!

Funny cause I've actually heard of that before about redheads. Just because you supposedly have a "low pain tolerance" doesn't mean the pain isn't real! It's hurting YOU reguardless if someone can handle the same amount of pain or not! It's not an excuse for a doctor to use to not help someone.

There's actually a higher incidence of endo in red-heads, so I'm surprised they didn't pick up on that!
Nice to meet you!!

Oh in regards to redheads my NYC specialist says endo hits irish woman, japanese and sicilian the most. Not sure if you are irish but I am and my twin sis and mother and grandmother all have female problems. He is doing a study ony endo and nationality. Yep Jenaya love his grin!

Mrs. Obama's dress is SO beautiful. And KSA, I'm scotch irish. Not sure where that puts me . Probably genetically very similar.

Can we blame endo on being Irish? LOL! I'm irish/welch with a smattering of German on the side.
