Keep in mind, this is not an endo related surgery. This was for "George" (the tumor of the pancreas). LOL Figured it'd still be fun to share. It's pretty awesome. I'm rather impressed by it. It's only 5 inches long, this picture was taken 3 days after the surgery. I think it will heal so nicely. I'm gonna rock it like I'm proud to be a survivor ;D Attachments:

Ooooh that looks good! It'll heal lovely! Mine's still quite red and puffy and a bit tender. Should put another one up. I'll be flashing mine when I go on hols and not care what anyone else thinks. It's part of you now J, and what you've been through to get you well again.

Awesome! I like scars - I see them a bit like tattoos, they show a piece of you from that time in your life

How crazy it is that we are all fascinated by pictures that might make other people cringe - dare I say especially the menfolk? I've always been fascinated by scars. My mom had a rather butchered shoulder surgery when she was 13, so she had this big sickle-shaped scar. I always thought it was cool and liked how it was something unique to my mom.
My doctor gave me copies of my surgery pics, and I've been fascinated. My husband saw them right after my surgery because the doctor whipped them out and showed him before he knew what was going on. I'm proud of him for not throwing up all over them.
I took some post-surgery pics (which I'll post soon) and he wouldn't understand why I'd want to. Whenever he sees pics of that kind of stuff he makes a funny semi-fake grossed-out sound that is modeled after Snoopy (sort of a mlyahhh sound.)
