I don't know if this is another thread somewhere else but I was thinking it would be fun to post pics of our sexy surgery scars! That way people who haven't had a lap yet can see how they can look. Mine still have the steri-stips on them:

I have my pic hosted on www.photobucket.comWhen you host the picture on there it gives you a little code to cut and paste into forums. That's how I did mine.

LOL I see what you mean. If we all show different scars it will either confuse the hell out of people or it will give more information about how variable this disease can be. Either way, it's fun to compare scars! LOL

Your all a bunch of skin and bones! Eat a little! You'll feel better... (until you have to deal with the IBS and constipation symptoms from the extra food.)

that link doesnt work omaklackey...
mines a little lighter now, and it looks like i have 2 stomachs as the scar has divided it into 2. i love my drainage bag scar the best. Its the one on the left.
The main scar goes from my belly button down to my lady parts.

Wow Cass that looks amazing! Jenaya mine are much the same as yours, will prob be the weekend that I post mine, but I think it's odd that they always do the left incision higher than the right one? When I had my first exicision I was a bit annoyed that they weren't symmetrical, as well as the fact that they had been sewn to look like belly buttons. I tried to show Cass on the webcam but I think all she saw was me gurning, not my tummy.

Yeah I was wondering why they did that. Plus I was under the impression that I was only supposed to have two, one under my belly button and one just above the vag. Plus I still have the steri-stips on them so I don't quite know what my belly button looks like and I'm kinda scared because I have an outy belly button! If he sliced through that then it's going to look really freaking wierd. But telling from the soreness, I think he cut below it once he saw that I had a goofy looking outy.

Dear wise Ouchy, do you know why they made the right incision higher than the left? Is it because of the possibility of the appendix being involved?

Mine is the same - right is higher than the left. They were planning on removing my appendix regardless so maybe you're right, Jenaya?
