Beware! Toxic Toys

I thought this article was interesting. At least they are testing toxicity levels of toys, but its aggravating to know Toys contain any of these toxins to begin with. PVC is horrible for all of us, and here it is being introduced to the youngest of our species. The exposure they get now will remain in their bodies for a heck of a long time. I can only imagine the damage and health risks that could pose to them in their futures.

Also, a documentary I recently just saw about PVC, called "Blue Vinyl" Is an interesting watch on the PVC industry, if any of you are interested.

Being a child of the 80s we grew up with everything lead based. I remember chewing on lead pencils. I really think we're all just destined to get cancer. lol

Yeah, I think it's sad that we have to prove that things are unsafe before people will consider pulling them from the shelves. (Didn't have a chance to read the article yet, but I'm assuming I get the gist of it.) They should have to prove it's SAFE before they can even sell it!
