That's a very personal choice to make. If you feel it's something you need to do, go ahead, we'll all be there for you. If you have any doubts, hang fire until you don't (have any doubts).

Let's all go on an endo cruise! We'll drink things that don't kill too badly, like vodka. It will be awesome.
As far as taking legal action, you do what you have to do. Whatever helps your life get back on track, and brings you some relief, do it.

Just so you don't think I'm being a masochistic pain in the arse, I'm considering involving the police because this man now has a baby girl and I can't stand by with his girlfriend not knowing who she's having children with. But yeah I will wait for a time when I can think of it a little less hysterically (I was overwhelmed by the urge to stuff a bag of pot pourri down his throat when I saw him) I certainly don't expect anyone to take me seriously whilst I'm teetering between highly strung and mopey.

Glad you have a few things sorted out, or at least prioritized a bit better now. And as for the legal action, I can certainly see both sides of the coin. You do what's best for you and your healing.
