Nice work girls! Sunshine, seriously, you should write a book. I'll tell you all my experiences, combine them with yours....we'll get our heads together and write half a dozen international bestsellers!! You have SUCH a way with words. You're all so right, a good thunderstorm is so therapeutic!
Here's another couple for me:
Thai food - have recently become obsessed. An amazing restaurant nearby. The they started to do takeaway which you had to collect. Then they started doing delivery, with cash on delivery. Now, they'll do delivery with card payments over the phone. I'm dooooomed!!!
Having enough bottles of champagne in the house to be able to pop one in the fridge whenever I fancy some. Oh, and it helps when a 'value' supermarket has one of my favourite brands on offer, reduced from £28 to £10.99!!!!! How AWESOME!!!
Having people respond to one of your posts - it's actually a freakin' awesome experience.
Oh, don't know if this is good or bad, but re: above: My American slang has got so bad since I started hanging around with all you yanks!! Lol! Love ya's!
Girls, we have so much crap in our lives, let's all remember and be thankful for the good stuff too xxxxxx

Men's aftershave - a good one. REALLY gets me GOING! A friend/ex neighbour/one nighter from abou 12 years ago popped round to see me tonight. We hugged hello and goodbye and his aftershave has lingered on my clothes. Ooooh it smells so good. Maybe this should go in the Horny Rant!

The most beautiful man in the world not merely smiling, but beaming, at you.

I wish that were the case... may have had an opportunity to at least be in one-another's company, off the clock, but I came down with a migraine, last night, that's still effing here. Towards the last hour of my shift, I literally could not focus my eyes. DarkMagic (as I like to think of him) has no idea how close he might've come to being in aforementioned Big Trouble. Got to leave some more of my makeup, on him, though. One more "smiley" thing: -Strong, gentle hands 'round the waist.

...ooooh, could use some nice happy thoughts... Nail polish. In bright funky colours. Or coloured eyeshadow (...er, do i sound like a child of the 80's?) Hydrangeas. I can't grow them here because the deer keep eating 'em, but love love love - especially the big blue mopheads. Fresh orange juice without pulp (ya ok I know pulp is healthy... guilty pleasure). Chocolate anything. A glass or two of the sort of wine that smells like flowers in the back of your throat. A belly laugh - or even a quick grin - from someone I love. ...And maybe a back rub (now I'm getting demanding ). Feeling happier already.

Getting pictures of my three babies, out of nowhere (my cuddly nephews, and my cuddly kitteh).
My mom's irises (all kinds of colors) and gladiolas in full bloom.
Bradford pears and redbuds - they look amazing, when they line whole university/city blocks.
An omelette full of fresh veggies, and a big, strong cup of Sumatra. Or Colombian (lol - still working on that second thing).

Sun streaming through my window in the morning. My budgies first tweets of the day when they 'talk' to the garden birds outside. A bit of banter with people. Smiling at someone or being as pleasant as usual, and getting a warm response (delivering bad news in a sweet and empathetic way has earned me thanks rather than swear words in work)

-The way my mom always indulges my need to hear from my cat, on the phone. Shutup. -The way he looks and smells and holds me and looks at me and kisses me.
