so I got my computer but I dont have a very good connection. my daughter is awake and hungry but we are waiting on the doctor to let her have more then popscicles. She has a severe UTI and they did remove her appendix. She is feeling better although still feverish today so will be here at least overnight. Our friend is watching the kids for us since we are so far away from family. Tony checked on them this morning and they are doing fine. Her appendix was slightly inflamed but we are unsure if that was causing the pain or if it was the severely overdistended emflamed bladder. None of her symptoms fit anything perfectly so we don't know what is really going on. Tony had only 2 hours of sleep on monday night and a half hour last night as he was the only medic on and had to continue to respond to calls all night long from the hospital. I've had about 2 hours of sleep myself but a lot of coffee and trying to keep hydrated so I don't start having problems. I need to stay healthy for the punkin'!!

Wow! I hope your child is feeling better soon. what an intense situation to go through. That's great you have a good friends support to help you and your hubby. I hope this weekend gives you the rest you and your hubby need.

Sorry to hear about your child Karla. *hugs*. I hope everything is ok and it's nothing to severe. Not exactly what your family needed right now but show strength and it will be observed in your child as well. Kepp us posted.

yeah we are home! My daughter got out of bed and practically ran out of the hospital! She stood there twisting around in the room with her baloons until the paper work got taken care off. It pays to have connections. Dr. Thill the hospitalist is also a mom which the surgeon wasn't so that was even more helpful. Sarah is bright eyed, out of pain and eating and everything is good. The funnest part will be trying to keep her down for a couple weeks so she can heal.
