Dear Cleveland Clinic:
You can send me all the collection letters you want. I will not pay them. Please take into consideration how many surgeries and office visits I had had in the last Four years, since you and I have become BFF's. Last year, I hit my out of pocket decutible which is $1500. Do you realize how often I pay your doctors salaries? I've been through 3 ER visits with you, 3 MRI scans, 3 surgeries and have spent over $1000 in co-pays last year ON TOP of my max out of pocket limit, and please don't forget the countless ultra sounds. Please save trees and stop sending me these letters, as I can not afford to pay them. I wish that I enjoyed our wonderful converstations over these bills, but if i could pay you to shut your pie hole, I would. If you would like me to continue to pay your doctors/surgeons salaries than i suggest you keep your collection letters to yourself. Please stop wasting trees, and please stop adding clutter to our landfills.
Thank you for your cooperation. Sincerely, your paycheck provider, Julie Schilling

Wait a minute, do you owe them or not?

lol yes i owe them money. For some reason they have me on two separate billing cycles, but under the same account. They have me set up online and they bill me. So the internet says i owe them $333 and the bill they send me says i owe them $562 but they are the same damn account number! So basically they are billing me twice a month on the same account. A-holes.

I'd tell them to get their billing straight, to send you one, concise bill, and that you will pay it.

after spending a 1/2 hour on the phone with cleveland clinic, unbeknowest to me, cleveland clinic gives you 3 months to pay off your bill, whether you are paying on it little by little or not, they will send you to collections if its not paid off. Interesting eh? All the people that i just talked to all agree that their billing system is messed up. They told me that I have to call them to combine all my bills together, even though its under the SAME account number. Man talk about trying to screw the public. Anyways, the lady told me that medical bills do not effect your credit score, so screw it, let the bill collectors call me ( in which they already have twice, I told him to kiss my arse) it will sit in collections. And whats funny is, the collections people make around 10% of what they collect, so i'll just let this guy harrass me for his $30 that he's NEVER going to get!
LMAO.
haha sorry, im amused. If someone would have said, hey you need to pay this off in three months. I would have said, um thats not possible.. lets work this out. BUT NOOOOO cleveland clinic cant communicate!

While I agree that they should send you one bill, I'm assuming you spent more than $300.00 on your wedding. Why not just pay them what you owe and be finished?

Remember they may not send you to collections and it may not mess up your credit score... but that hospital will also no longer take you as a patient if you are not payed up. I would strongly advise taking a deep breath, get back on the phone and straighten the idiots up! I always skip the main people and go straight for the manager. It works much better!!
