Well I am at the beach! Tons of fun lots of laughing and waves crashing. My cell phone rung yesterday and I knew the number was my docs office so I let it go to VM I just wanted to have a peaceful vacation without any medical drama. My girlfriend called and left a VM too and her mother is sick so to listen to hers I had to listen to the docs message too. So I did and wished I had not!
My ANA levels for my Lupus test came back very high which is a #1 indicator for Lupus and he wanted me in the office asap for more blood work. Well I explained to the nurse I am on vacation. She was pissed wanted to know when I would be back blah blah blah. I had no idea I was being held hostage in Ohio by my docs office! I told her saturday she said fine right away I need to go to the hospital for the blood work. So I guess I just found out I prob have Lupus. Atleast I have a answer or will soon and now I can relax by the beach. Awww the joy of being a medical anomaly:)

Oh man, I'm so sorry Keri...I guess the bright side of it is at least you have an answer. I hope you can enjoy the rest of your vacation!!!! On a good note for myself, since you're my anemia buddy , I just had my blood drawn last week and my hemoglobin was up to 9.2! It hasn't been that high in a while...I was pretty stoked.

Well, hey, at least enjoy your vacation while you can, and know that when you return, things will get looked into further. At least you're starting to get some answers after this whole ordeal!
Relax until then!!

I would definitely take the above advice. No sense in dwelling on the "maybe/probablies" of something. You'll find out soon enough, and if the news is bad, TOO soon.
You have a blast, and live like you don't have lupus.

I haven't really done anything different...it's just steadily been improving since my surgery in April. Doc guesses it's because I no longer have endo nodules bleeding inside me every month, so I'm not losing as much blood internally. I've also been eating alot better and more often and have put on some weight. Energy has def gone up a bit...I'm finally riding and exercising again! Trust me I still have days (like today) where I'm exhausted and could fall asleep at any moment, but they're not as frequent as they used to be.
