I just overheard my husband on the phone explaining what endometriosis is to one of his guy friends. LOL it was SO FRIGGIN CUTE!! I only got parts of it but I heard things like, "When a woman has her period, it's the uterine lining that sheds...." LOL ANd then I hear things like, "It causes scar tissue, a lot of pain, infertility..."
LOL! I can't believe he has actually been listening to me! I had no idea he knew so much! HAHAHAA! This is just so funny to me! How freakin cute is this??? I always thought he glazed over when I talked about this sh*t! HAHA!

It's just hilarious to hear him talk about periods and uterus and inflammation. HAHA I got such a huge kick out of it! I'm just so excited that he actually KNOWS about this stuff now! Getting him to read things was like pulling teeth before! It's a miracle!

my hubby just wraps it all up into "her insides are all messed up" and that's how explains what's wrong! LOL and he is in the freakin health field so he should be able to explain it. We talk about "my angry tummy" and "my poor tummy" not about inflammation. I look it Jenaya, its great that he is listening!

AWW how cute! Sometimes I actually like that "fix it" mentality that men have. But usually it just gets on my nerves. In this case it played in your favor Keri! LOL!

I want to say how happy I have been lately with my honey bunny We all know endo is a bitch, it's painful, it's irritating, and it wrecks everything... sometimes. Anyhow I am married to a guy who is really similar to me in a lot of ways. He has his own painful health issues (broken back, bad knees, etc) and we both deal with our issues in the same way mostly: we grin and bear it most of the time. Lately I have had to deal with recurrence of some endo stuff including a cyst bursting and lots of ongoing bleeding (yuck) as well as starting on some hormones to supress the ovary and then getting my period a week and a half early, and the spotting continues as well. I'm just happy with his support and reaction lately, he seems ready to offer sympathy if that's what I want, but more and more i feel like he and I are really pissed at endo TOGETHER lol, if that makes sense. He is sort of mad at endo on my behalf. And he keeps trying to look on the bright side lol. Last night he was ranting on and on at the endo, and then it occurred to him that since I'm having my 'period' NOW, that means hopefully it will be OVER by Friday and we'll have a REAL vacation. he pointed out to me last night that EVERY TIME we go ANYWHERE I have my period, or some issue with what he lovingly calls 'the Vag' lol. So in spite of everything I am raving about him, I love him, he's supporting me in his way, which is strange but good
