Ha, good call! And, hey, we know that every month, we get a week off of work!! Hahahahha great point! I never even though of that - that's 12 weeks off a year - find a company that offers that along with the opportunity to work from home and a flexible schedule. Doesn't sound quite sooo bad, LOL!

Sex is definitely better than ice cream, but it's more difficult to have an ice-cream-dry-spell... Sigh...

So I woke up this morning thinking what the HELL am I thinking, jumping on things so fast?? Today I'm leaning towards not doing much of anything this semester but doing tons of research, talking to as many people I can, and seeing if going to school the following semester might be a better idea, give me more time to think things over and see if there are any other (better) opportunities out there. I crunched the math and I'd be spending $200+ a month on gas alone!
Who knows, the stars may not even align for school to be an option this fall, so perhaps I won't even have to THINK about this any more in a few days!

Oh, I feel the torment you are going through. I am NOT one to make fast decisions either until I have thought out every possible angle and the pros and cons. I'm so bad that I almost lost my sh*t a few weekends ago when we planned an impromptu trip to CT and NYC the night before to see concerts. By the time I got in the car to drive up, I had to take an ativan b/c everything was moving way too fast and I was certain that I missed something and it was going to go wrong - and that was for something simple and fun, and not a life changing event in the least.
If everything comes back a thumbs up to move forward, what does your gut tell you to do? Hang in there!

Well, here's the latest... I got a phone call FRIDAY saying I was admitted to the program, and did I want to start this fall? I spent much of the week deliberating over it and decided to wait a semester. It'll give me some time to figure out if this is exactly what I want to do, figure out transportation/potential part-time housing there, and most importantly, do research to see if it is in fact a good career to go into these days. Until I sign up, I won't know for sure if funding will be approved, but the guy I've been talking to said he felt he could make a good case for it. If I get a good job in the meantime, I'll put school on hold. If I don't get a good job in the meantime, it'll be more motivation to go back to school. At least I'm not feeling all nervous and frantic about it anymore.
Stacy - any news on your end? Or are you still waiting?
