So yeah day freakin' forever of cramping. I discovered that If I keep moving it takes my mind of it. The minute I sit and think I go OUCH! I'm sure anyone who meditates or studies the art of self distraction is going DUH! right about now. I'm scrapbookin' and making craft japanse paper art with my girls anything to distract myself. I have been cleaning like I'm in the nesting stage of pregnancy! BUT the hubby got noooo.... sleep last night and Is trying to catch up. He came in at 7 am after driving all night long and running calls. So I can't do anything noisy. grr... So need a good distraction right now. TV doesn't cut it! Only 8 more days and I will take out the offending Uterus. It can kiss my a**! ;D I got into an interesting subject with the girls on Hyster sisters about what made you change your mind. I was soo... against the hysterectomy and now I can't wait. I'm hopeful most days and excited and terrified the rest of the time! but that's probably typical...

Had to show everyone my six year olds handiwork. I learned this from my exchange student and friend Yumi who stayed with us for six weeks. It was a good distraction for a while. ANd the girls loved it!

I've been editing photos for people with photoshop. It's fun! Uh, it's fun unless you have to do 1000+ per wedding... Cute art! By the way, what was the one thing that made you decide to go with a hysto?

I can't think of specific. Probably the second trip to the ER in a month. Pain so bad that the Dilatid barely touched and that's ten times stronger then Morphine. I also have a prolapse, another cyst which is already a 1 in and probably another enodometrioma. I'm just really done hurting all the time! I can honestly say I have tried everything and that was my biggest concern. I wanted to know for sure that I had done my best before yanking out something that may or may not cure anything. I had an ablation in November, the Lap (which made things ten times worse) and I needed some direction of some kind. When I got in with yet another doctor (third one) and He was honest. I think that was what made me finally do it maybe. He says right away "I dont' recommend a hysterecotmy for someone as young as you are" then after the exam he was very nice and took another hour talking with me and just said "I think you are looking at a hysterectomy in the near future." It just clicked that This was the direction I wanted!! Everything fell into place after that. If you believe in omens or a higher purpose directing you... my higher purpose gave me some pretty specific clues that it was time. Does that help???

Yup, that makes sense to me! I was just curious. I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason, too! I really give you credit for pushing on, despite feeling so crappy! I know to you it probably didn't seem like you had any other choice, but you did, and you chose to keep searching for something else to help with the pain. I really commend you for that!

Yeah, I have a choice. I could wait until things wern't so fresh in my memory. BUt the timing was good. Summer is better and I won't have school related stuff until about week 4 or 5 after. Its going to be tough but I think its TIME! I homeschool so I can just take it easy on the schooling until I recover (make the hubby do school, he is smarter then me anyway! ROFL - twit got a 3.9 all through high school and pulled 3.9 in Paramedic school)
