Hi girls, I know that kefir (butter milk) is allowed on this diet but do you know if cottage cheese is okay too? It seems to be pretty much the same to me - it's dairy but kinda sour Any ideas? Thanks! I've been on the diet for about 6 months, was feeling great so I decided to get off to see what happens. Was off for a month and my last period completely killed me!

Hi,
Personally I would avoid it along with all other dairy products, if on the endo diet. If you definitely want to eat it, I would say go for organic.
You could also try cheeses made from goats or sheep.

Cottage cheese is a dairy product, made from milk. I would say it's probably closer to yoghurt than cheese, so if you wouldn't eat that i wouldn't recommend eating it. But if you are following strictly yes it is dairy so avoid it.
