argh these arthritic like pains i have every day are insane. on top of have a tap ass with diarrhea and stomach cramps i feel like i have arthritis.
my foremarms are so freaking sore i went to the gym tonight and i stopped after 10mins and cried cause they were so sore that i could barely drive home.
i take nurofen when im at work to dull the aches and pains that are more presominant in my arms and legs.
sorry for whining, ive always pushed through it all and apart feom having 10weeks off after my op ive hit the ground running with FT work and exercise and it just sux.
wonder if nearly 2 years on GnRh has anything to do with it?

I bet it does...for a drug that you're only supposed to be on for 6 months, I bet it's caused quite a bit of bone loss. I hope you feel better, but sometimes it get's really tough trying to hold your head high all the time.

Cass I agree with the girls it can only be that frigging stuff. I'm hoping the add-back will take extra effect. You're doing break to be on the weight bearing exercises though. Are you taking a calcium supplement? Your doc might wanna look at a stronger longterm script if they want you to carry this on. And after only 3 days of light diarrhoea, I think you're a trooper, absolutely. I had endo pain for those 3 days of course, and just found that I wondered how you stay so strong. You have us all behind you you know

Well, for what it's worth, I'm in awe of all that you've done and how well you've been able to keep with your workouts and everything else despite everything that's going on!
I agree with the other girls - likely GnRH. Maybe time to talk about a new game plan with your doc?

Hi Cass, Have you tried taking Volatren instead of Nuerofen? I find it works a lot better, i actually have a script for the same ingredient but stronger, so instead of taking 4 volatrens i take 2 Dicolfenac Sodium. And because its just an anti-inflamatory you can also take paracetamol with it if you need to.
Be brave, stay strong!

Hi Rach,
Thanks so much for your response I have been using the voltarn emugel on my joints. Do you find those tablets help relieve your aches and pains? I amseeing my GP next Tuesday so I will ask for a script. Last time i went ot the GP and mentioned the aches he did a blood test and my Anti Nuclear Factor (ANF) came back high. Rh factor for srthritis was normal. He referred me to a rheumatologist and i didnt go.
My normal GP just put it down to menopause symptoms. its even hurting as i type this. Could it be a result of fatigue? ill have to ask for anther referral perhaps to an immunoligst?

I get a very achey lower back which i find they work quite well on. When the pain gets really bad i take a panaol as well, and it usually keeps it under control. I know my dad has also taken them when he hurt his back awhile back, so i think they are generally pretty good for aches and sore muscles, so i'll keep my fingers crossed that it makes some difference for you if you try them!
I'm not sure about fatigue causing aches, its not something i've ever heard of. Maybe you should consider taking up the refferal to the rheumatologist?

Hey, Cass - so sorry you're feeling like crap. I think it's wise to talk to your doc about all this and hope you're able to get some relief. It gets old after a while, doesn't it?! Sending good thoughts your way.
