I am really interested in trying the endo diet but have concerns with cutting out dairy and not getting enough calcium? How do you all make sure you are getting the calcium you need?
I want to start taking supplements too but am not sure which ones in what amount etc. My insurance won't send me to a nutritionist unless I have diabetes ( I have enough problems thanks!) so unless I pay out of pocket I can't get help that way..
Sorry I just realised I have not introduced myself- will do int he introductions thread...

Hi there, I just did a quick search and came up with this:
"Fish such as sardines, salmon, oysters, trout, prawns, and tuna are all high in calcium and have the convenience of being available canned. All fruits contain some calcium, dried figs and cooked rhubarb are particularly high. Bread and grain all contain calcium and so do nuts, seeds and legumes. Many vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, greens and beets are high in calcium and they all contain some."
Also some rice milk/oat milk/soy milks have added calcium. If you decide you need to take a calcium supplement, i reccomend one that is combined with Vitamin D as it helps with calcium absorbtion.
