My girlfriend claims that her menstrual bleeding which had stopped for 2 months suddenly resumed. Is this possible or is it some other form of bleeding.

What do you mean 'after'? Like during treatment? Cos after treatment has stopped it should start again unless another treatment is started immediately after, though most doctors wait for a period before starting a new hormone treatment.

It is also possible to still bleed while taking Danazol. Its meant to stop it, but in my case it didn't.

I was on it for a few months and still had my period... Danazol doesn't seem to do a job as well as the other meds..

It can resume with any hormonal treatment. I had 6 weeks of very heavy breakthrough when I first went on GnRH and ended up in the emergency room. If it's especially heavy or painful it's always a good idea to run it by a doctor. If necessary they can look at a short term med to stop it. For me they had to as it was so bad and the hormonal imbalance caused by going on GnRH meant it wasn't going to stop by itself anytime soon! Remember, as impossible as things may sound, always be understanding about what she tells you. Nothing worse than confiding some freaky endo-related thing to a loved one and being looked at like you're nuts!
