So i always knew that exercise was good for you- apart from fitness and maintaining weight, i knew it released endorphines and made you feel good and so could help with pain. But my naturopath was saying today that exercising can also help burn off excess oestrogen which might be floating around in your system. Has anyone help of this before?

I've heard of it. The idea is that since excess estrogen is stored in fat cells, it would follow that exercise would reduce those fat cells and your overall estrogen levels would be reduced. About 3 years ago I got rid of my car and use my bicycle for most of my transportation needs. I wish I had gotten some blood work when I started - I could have tracked it. I'd like to think that it has helped prevent the worsening of my endo. What I do know is that exercise can help prevent adhesions from forming.
For me, riding my bicycle is the best form of exercise. I don't have to make time for it, since I need to go to work, the grocery store, the doctor, etc. anyway. I can also take it easy and ride slower when I am in a lot of pain. The 60 lbs weight loss hasn't hurt any, either. ;D
