I had a dinner yesterday with some friends and they cooked a meal which was 100% suitable for the endo diet. I am still so happy that they did that! They honestly found it a challenge and enjoyed looking outside their standard recipes for alternatives. I had never expected anyone to go through these lengths for me and I bless myself for having such lovely people in my life.
Anyway, we had a BBQ and they also had shrimps. I had some because they were VERY tasty but I was wondering where these would fit in the diet...
Shrimps are low fat, but high cholesterol. Do they fall in the category fish = OK as long as it's from clean see? Or is it different, but then why? And how about other things like lobster? There is much more seafood stuff of course but I'm not too keen on that myself, although I'm still interested how you guys deal with that? Do you eat it or not?
Thanks! Susanne

I'm not sure, but I know seafood and shellfish do not bother my tummy.

Oh yes, I believe in a seafood diet: "when I see food, I eat it" . (Actually, I'm severely allergic to crustaceans: no seafood for Puddleduck ).
