Hello ladies,
I've been inspired by the endo-recipe book since this weekend but I'm running into a some conversion confusion. I need to convert the cups and teaspoons to grams and milliliters but I found several different conversion tables on the internet. Help! Which am I to use? I found a Canadian metric: 1 cup is 250ml or 225 g; an Australian metric (assuming is same as UK metric): 1 cup is 250 ml or 250 g; a US metric: 1 cup is 224ml, didn't find any grams. And in the recipe book itself I found somewhere that one tablespoon was 7.5 grams, which doesn't seem to relate to any of the above.
Thanks! Susanne

A reply to myself What I'm doing at the moment is that I use: 1 cup = 250 ml/g 1 tbs = 15 ml/g 1 tspn = 5 ml/g It doesn't always seem to work well this way (my buckwheat bread was like a rock, don't think the birds would be able to eat it if they tried ). But this could also be the scale I'm using. I think I will get one that can measure off smaller amounts more accurate. So, it a work in progress. For anyone in the EU (outside the UK) who is also working with grams and ml's, let's get in touch and exchange tested and proofed recipes! Susanne

I don't know personally, but I love this site and came across this on purpose just for you... It links to a few other pages on the site that does conversion rates to Canadian and UK. It also links to a page for Metric conversions and Gram conversions... I hope this helps Hun. allrecipes.com/HowTo/Recipe-Conversion-Basics/Detail.aspx
