I have a question for you! When you had internal ultrasounds did they see anything or did you discover all of this when you went in for your lap? The reason I ask is bc the docs don't see anything when I have an internal ultrasound.
Sorry you are still in pain and are back at work already...that sucks!!! I can't believe your lap was four hrs long. I have my first one on the 11th and I figure it will be an hour long or less.

all the other ones ive had have been an hour or two.. my mom was in the waiting room and she got real freaked out cuz it was taking so long and started crying i guess.. im her baby and this makes her cry alot what im going through.. anyways..
I have had a ton of ultrasounds over the years, and the only thing that has ever shown up was cysts.. and i have severe endo and have had many adhesiions... sucks it doesnt show on there tho.

Dezre-- endo will not show up on an ultrasound, it can only be diagnosed through surgery. unfortunately.

Have you ever been seen for MS (multiple sclerosis)?

No, but the doc finally decided to care.. i guess the nurse didnt really talk to her about it bc she told me to come to the office NOW. So I went in and I finally saw the pics from my surgery... i have never seen so much endo in my life (and i just had surgery in Feb!). She said there was one spot that she cannot get to bc it wraps around a major blood vessel and the femoral something or other nerve. She said it probably was inflammed by all the stuff she did in there... she put me back on neurontin and if there is no improvement by tomorrow i have to go for nerve testing and/or nerve injections. She said there is nothing she can do to get rid of the endo there.. only a hysterectomy will get rid of it, but she doesn't want to do one.. and neither do i... i want a family!!! Im really upset... i am so sick of dealing with this.. im 23, have NO life, constantly in the docs office or on the phone with them. Im about to lose my job since they do not give me time off for ANYTHING.. even for my surgery i got written up for taking time off. im so frustrated and upset. It seems like every time i find hope (i was hopeful the surgey would go well and maybe be my last) it all just crashes done on me.

update - they couldn't get me the appt for Friday so they told me to go to the ER. Aparantly this is an effect from the surgery.. just not a common one. I was admitted to the hospital and rec'd nerve blocks on Saturday.. which did not work. I was told that this could last for days, weeks, or forever. Im back to the same pain i was in, and have been told there is nothing else to do. awesome.. this pain is so much worse then the endo pain b4 the surg... i cant sit, stand, walk, or sleep... great.
