I managed to find a new doctor, and saw her yesterday! She runs a Women's Clinic in my city (not far from my work). She is amazing! Very sympathetic, and very willing to help me deal with my pain.
Lately I've been sleeping maybe 3 hours a night. My legs have been getting severe cramps, I've had "period cramps" (minus the period), and my feet are numb---all of which wake me up or keep me awake at night. My old doctor didn't seem to care.
So my new doc gave me anti-inflammatories to help ease the pain a bit, and sleeping pills to knock me out (and do they ever!). I got 7 1/2 hours of sleep last night!
She said she's sure it's endo, and she thinks the foot tingle/numbness are because either a) endo is pushing on a nerve near my spine b) endo is pushing an organ into a nerve near my spine or c) my uterus is tilted, and pushing into a nerve near my spine.
Either way, the gyn will (hopefully) figure it out in February.
I'm so happy! I no longer feel like a crazy person!
