Well, since 14 days (2 weeks) is the average luteal phase (time from ovulation until your period), and your period is due in 2 weeks, you could be ovulating right now.

taking your temperature each morning first thing when you wake up to see whether or not you've ovulated. It's also called BBT charting.

Ah. The saliva microscope. It just shows you that you *might* ovulate. Not that you *did* ovulate. Like checking cervical mucus. Basically, if you want to get pregnant, have sex any time you see fertile cervical mucus or ferning on the scope. You *might* be fertile.
Have you always had regular periods? If so, it's probably pretty reliable.

Yah. Sounds like some hormone problems. I'd go back to the microscope. I don't know why your doctor told you to quit. It's not like spitting on a microscope lens hurts your body! Also, they say you can use the microscope as a pregnancy test bc of the rise in estrogen causing ferns.

Also, if you don't get pregnant this month, I highly recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It's REALLY great to learn about your fertility signs.

Yep. On your period happens again bc of a secondary estrogen spike right before you get your period.

I think it is cool that the microscope works for you. I saw thickening of the saliva but never full furns. I need to see if it shows any now that I am pregnant.
