Hey, everyone. What were your earliest pregnancy signs?

Ouchy,
For me it was the constant tierdness, I totally lost my appetite and the only thing I could keep down was lemonade! I had all of those symptoms from very early on. I remember by breasts being extremely tender but I cant remember having any symptoms that wern't normal pregnancy symptoms.
That probably doesn't help any awful lot...

Yeah it felt like the very start of period cramps but very mild, felt like they were going to turn into full cramps in a few days. But I lost my baby at 8 weeks, I had alot of symptoms very early on - especially sickness - almost immediately it seemed!

I had the breast tenderness and was very sick. It was also flu season, so it took longer to figure out.

Ahh, Meldart. I'm sorry about your baby. That's too bad. I hope next time goes better for you! Last month before I lost my little ball-of-cells baby, I had the cramping, too. Also felt like period cramps. My cramps last month started about 2 days past ovulation (dpo), leading to the positive pregancy test on 5 dpo. This month, I ovulated early again (I've read common after miscarriage.), and I am 4 dpo today and have the same little pinching, digging-in type cramps. This time isn't as bad as before, but maybe if I am pregnant again it just took longer to implant? I dont' know. I bought a tube of progesterone cream just in case, so hopefully I won't lose it again if I am pregnant. I've had breast tenderness, too. That actually was my first sign this time. That and also the tiredness. I don't have energy for anything. At least I know this time that the cramps are most likely from implantation...so no muscle relaxers for me this time! I'm almost scared to test in a couple days. I feel like I might jinx myself! Thanks meldart and Lynette, for your replies.

Ouchy,
I will say a prayer for you. I lost mine in January, found out on a Sunday and lost it the next Thursday. I am now almost 18 weeks pregnant.
Signs for me: food aversions, nausea (and not just in the morning), fatigue, definitely breast tenderness, some moodiness.
My first time I had no pelvic pain and this time, I have had it almost constantly since my 11+ weeks. The doctor told me to, "take Tylenol and rest, but really your body and God determine whether you carry it, not what you do."
So, with all of that said, try to relax and enjoy. I really hope you get the results you are hoping for.

They are different for everyone, and each pregnancy is different. I knew I was pregnant before I had symptoms. Condom broke on ovulation day so I tested early and knew before anything was happening. I can't say I would've recognized what followed. I had breast tenderness but not till 8 or 9 weeks, wasn't really tired in early trimester, I did have some cramping pain but mine was more the ligament stretching pain not implantation pain.
Sorry about your baby, I had a miscarriage a year ago, and even though I didn't want to have another baby (happened on the pill and condoms) I was still devastated. Its a tough thing to go through and I now wonder how women cope so well all the time, we are a very strong group of people thats for sure. What I did learn is to allow yourself to grieve and commemorate it in some way, I bought a special bracelet to remember and it helped.

Hi, guys. Ellen and Janet, thanks for your support. I really appreciate it! I'm sorry for both of your losses. I guess buying a bracelet or something might be a nice thing to do. I have the positive test sitting on my desk. I almost can't bring myself to throw it away--it's kind of like a little "fingerprint" of what my husband and I created. ...kinda' creepy, huh!
The signs this month (another possible "accident") are that I am still worn-out tired and still having little crampies (I made "crampies" diminutive due to extreme nature of endo cramps!) Today I noticed what I think was a little spotting. I'm either going to start my period, or I guess it could be implantation spotting. Guess I'll find out very soon.
Thanks again.

Hi Ouchy. My very first sign of pregnancy was a sense of fullness. I was average weight during that time and I just remember that in the first 4 weeks of my pregnancy my stomach just felt full all the time. My periods were always right on time, I always started on a Tuesday. So when I didn't start I took a hpt that Saturday and it came out positive. I couldn't believe it. Turns out that sense of fullness was me rapidly putting on weight. I gained 8 pounds in my first month without even realizing it.

I'm having implantation cramps this time, too. My first sign this time 'round was that my scalp broke out in cysts a couple times after ovulation, and I only break out in sebacious cysts AT ovulation. Followed by that, food aversions seem to be the worst. The thought of eggs makes me want to puke, which luckily I have not done yet! Hopefully, I won't get bad morning sickness!

I'm almost at week 6, and I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired! By the end of the work day, I almost don't even have energy to drive home! I'm still avoiding eggs, even though I cook them every morning for my husband. The thought of eggs still makes me want to throw up! Still haven't actually thrown up yet.
