hello ladies...
i was just trying to think of meals that i can eat without causing me any side effects AKA pain, but in a reasonable price. With all of the food and gas going up it seems daily, my first instinct would be to buy the cheapest foods i can find. However if I do that, i will feel like complete crap and probably gain even more weight. even if i have to eat the same 3 meals every day to save some money i would do it. all i have so far is tuna salad sandwiches, beans rice & cheese, soup, edamame, and gluten free chips and salsa....and some canned veggies....
any suggestions?
thanks!!!

Have you tried cold rice salad? You put in dried fruit, nuts, and some other endo-friendly stuff. It's pretty cheap to make. In general, I get recipes from epicurious.com and foodnetwork.com, in addition to my stack of cookbooks. Other than rice salad, look up couscous and barley for some suggestions. You can also make your own hummus, lentil soups and anything with beans, since they're still relatively cheap and are a good source of protein.
With food prices the way they are, I've completely given up trying to eat organic, though. I try to get staples with a long shelf life, like raisins and other dried fruit, canned and dried beans, peanut butter and stuff like that. Also, if you bake your own breads, muffins and stuff, it's much cheaper, though very time-consuming.
Hope that helps!
