I got some samples from my doc, and did the usual research. i have found that there are a lot more negative responses as to positive. A lot of feeling flu like, major headaches; pretty much more symptoms that i do not need. BUT my IBS-C is getting worse, and the bloating and pain is a lot. i took correctol over the weekend and it KILLED me. granted the bloating went away after awhile, but it was serious!
Anyone have other means of helping IBS-C perhaps?

I am not sure what the 'C' stands for in IBS but I do know that a pretty strict diet often times works for IBS.

YES. I do a strict diet, the highest fiber i can get; insoluble and soluble....since i have been constipated i started also taking some fiber capsules, more flaxseed oil and cayenne pills to work my intestines....IT IS HORRIBLE. I feel like i am 6 months prego i am so bloated

Oh no, that sounds terrible!!! My dh didn't have IBS but has been constipated since birth. He found that the Colonix program at www.drnatura.com has been a godsend. After we did the 3 month cleanse together he continues taking the fiber daily. For whatever reason this fiber works better for him than the Metamucil he used to take (which worked some). He is now regular and feels cheated if he doesn't have his 2 or so movements a day.
