Hi All,
My name is Cassie, I was diagnosed with Endo in August 2006 aged 19, I am now 21 and have been told I possibly have CIN1... This was not picked up with a Pap-Smear but rather by me, when I have intercourse with my Boyfriend I bleed nearly every time. I went to my GP thinking that it was due to the Endo, he decided to have a look at my cervix and was going to do a pap test, but as soon he touched my Cervix it started to bleed. He said I would have to go to my Gynae for a Colposcopy and Biopsy. I have had the Colposcopy and Biopsy, and my Gynae asked me if I was familiar with the term CIN1... I wasn't but I am now. I have to go back this Thursday to have LEET. I am scared and I have read that a lot of the time they don't need to treat CIN1, so why am I being treated? Is it worse than he is telling me? Another thing, I have been told that the BCP can cause this, I have been on it since I was 15 because of irregular periods and when it was found I had Endo I had to take it continuously (skipping AF) for 3months... Now I 'm being told the treatment for my Endo has caused more problems in other areas!?! I am going to start trying TCM next week, have already been to a Chinese Doctor. I don't want to be putting drugs in my body that cause more harm then good! Has anyone else had this same problem/diagnosis?
... geez that was a ramble, but I already feel better getting that out!

HUM. We've talked about HPV on the forum, but I think only one person has said that she has it--and I don't remember her type. Good luck w/ everything!

Hi Cassie, This is a bit of an old thread but i'm was searching for info on cervical cancer/abonormal pap smears, etc, as i need to go see my gyn for a colposcopy due to a previously abonormal pap and now bleeding following sex. This is kind of scary, because i have also been on BCP for many years (since 1999 actually, with pretty much no breaks) and am now doing the three months continuous thing. It seems pretty scary that something that is meant to help treat endo can actually cause danage elsewhere. Oh and also i read on someone else's post about having acne on their chin, and how it was a sign that hormones were out of balance- ME TOO. I'm so sick of them!!
How have things progressed with you up until now?
