I have been searching the forums but I have not found anything related but I hope I am not redundant posting.
I recently had a kindy and UTI infection. The pain started to sub side, but now it is a constant, it hurts when I exercise and do deep breathing such as my musical instruments or singing. Anyway the Dr did test and nothing came up on the c-t. I asked if it could be my endo that was causing the problem, because the infection triggered the pain, and said it was not likely for endo to travel that high. Yet I have found in research that women who have the same pain in the same spots when finlly opend up had endo. My Doc thinks its Pyscosis. I think he is crazy since I have been dealing with endo longer than he as been my dr.
Has any one else had or heard of this pain in or around the kidney and rib cage area?

I haven't found any research of heard of any one else who has this kind of pain, but I have back, rib, and kidney pain. I'm so glad to find someone else who has this kind of pain! When I first experienced it, I asked my doctor about it, and he said it was unlikely it was endo pain, although I still disagree because it feels exactly like my endo pain, except in the rib cage and back. Hopefully, I'll be going back to see my doctor sometime this week, and I'll let you know what he says and if he recommends anything.

Hey. I have never had a uti or a kidney infection. But I definitely get major pain in my kidney and back area. When they did my lap they discovered I had some endo on my kidney so it's for sure a possibility that the endo is causing you pain there. That is actually where I get most of my pain.

I have pain in the back/kidney area, too, but have never had a UTI or kidney infection. My doc is trying to avoid surgery, so I don't know if I have endo there, but it wouldn't be a surprise.
