Hi - I'm new here and have just discovered that I have what is likely an endometrial cyst on my left ovary and what is either a larger cyst or possibly neoplasm on my right. I will be having my second ultrasound next week to have a closer look, compare sizes, and to see if there are cysts in any other part of my abdomen.
Anyway, a few days ago I started to get this pulsating / fluttering sensation in my lower abdomen - right in the middle. There is nothing on my uterus so far. I am wondering if this is a symptom of endo, or if it is my nerves! My heart has been a little bit fluttery along with this as well. I'm normally a very calm person so I am wondering if this is symptoms of the disease or symptoms of stress.
Thank you! Tiffany

I had something like that when I was really stressed out. It could be from nerves. I've never read in any book or anything about tummy fluttering being a symptom of endo.

Same here...i have had the same fluttering feeling in the lower abdomen. I always thought it was normal thinking it's a pulse point..but having read this now i know that there could be other reasons. Although i have read that tummy fluttering could be because of bloatness.

I used to get this happen actually, but it seems to have stopped now, havent had it for a while. Maybe it is nerves, only use to get it in bed, and i take valerian now to sleep, so maybe it is. My life has been stressful lately so makes sense. Bloating makes sense though too, coz im bloated alot, from ovulation to my period and some months it doesnt go and i have to wait for my next period for it to go down. Bloats down at the moment though, so happy
