I have always had this belly fat, every single day. I've was diagnoised at 21, I'm now 38. Even when I was thin I looked like I was a few months pregnant. I'm proportionate all over except for my stomach. So after all these years i just started buying maternity clothing. It's the only thing that fits my stomach and isn't extremely baggy in the top part of the shirt. I finally got rid of the constant belly ache with acidophilous, but I wish I could get a flat stomach again.

I have gotten my first belly fat after being on Ovral continuously for 6 months. I also gained somewhere between 40 and 50 lbs on it! Ew! I call my hangy belly my "plink".

I've also put on a lot of weight since having my first LAP. I was never a really skinny person but a healthy UK size 10/12 for my frame. I'm now a size 16 and feel disgusted @ myself when i look in the mirror. The worst thing is that i dun pig out or eat junk food ! My stomach is bloated all the time and i have had friends and family asking me if i am preg..as i look 4-5 mths pregnant. I wouldn't mind if i was overweight and pregnant. This endo has stolen everything i believed in and worked for

I am not an expert so take what I say with a grain of salt. I think increased belly fat is a common problem with women in general. We tend to gain and thicken since we were created to grow babies. Diet is the number one issue with belly fat with exercise being second. I think we don't take as good care of ourselves when we feel like crap so its a viscious cycle. Feel like crap, don't exercise feel even crappier tomorrow. Why bother dieting when we feel like we look like crap anyway. See where I'm going. I'm not bragging please don't take it that way. Back in January I decided I needed to take better care of myself, 2 years ago when I turned 30 I practically fell apart. Endo hit the all time high that led to lots of tests and finally the lap that diagnosed and removed what he could. I put on weight and felt generally horrid. So new years resolution cause I want to see my son graduate and get married and all that jazz was to lose weight and eat better. I started weight watchers online, hooked back up with my trainer at the gym and got to work. Was doing ok, then my long term bf ended our relationship a few weeks into January. I realized the stress of our relationship had been holding me back. I've lost 34 lbs (putting some of it back on cause didn't mean to lose that much) since Jan. I work out 4 to 5 days a week. 4 to 5 days of weight training and then 4 days of cardio. I am happy, healthy, eliminating persistant back pain, no endo pain at all since January. I still eat the same crap just less of it and made some healthier substitutions Anyway, I think we get in a viscious cycle that only we can decide to get out of. It hurt the first few weeks to push myself to exercise, but then it was all worth it the day I woke up with no back pain and feeling like I could conquer the world. Janet

Although endo has taken the best out of me..i have not had any moments of comfort eating or lazing around. I walk a lot and also play badminton on and off. I can't seem to get rid of all of this excess weight. The only was is to starve myself

I think belly fat is something most of the developed world is having to deal with, with all of the processed bullsh*t we eat nowadays. Look back at how much our diets have changed since even just our grandparents' or great-grandparents' times! They never had a plethora of chips and dips and sodas to guzzle! They ate healthy fruits, vegetables, meats. And if you go back to the stoneage, we've really strayed from our diet!
If you can't seem to lose the weight despite dieting and also have infertility problems, there is a chance you could be insulin resistant. Most people actually have some form of insulin resistance these days.

OK hit the gym a year ago and lost a good amount of poundage - lol - did not really watch the scale more the pant sizes....went from a 14 to an 8. Well back into a 16 now (got so sick of the gym) and I have to say it makes since. I hurt more then I did when I had lost the weight. So I find this interesting.

oh man do i feel you all on this one. i just went to the doc tues, and within a month i have gained 8 pounds....AAGGHH!!! i have even thought about totally getting off the b control to lose SOME weight, but then the thought of those horrific cramps makes me change my mind. i am doing this fast like thing, just started on monday this week. i am totally cutting out (no matter what kind of craving i have) all fried foods, CHIPS, anything processed, all meat-including fish, anything with non natural sugar in it, caffeine, alcohol.....pretty much i am eating lots of salad w/ veggies, beans, corn, green beans, a lot of veggies...some fruits....and whole grain rice. and water. i honestly feel a difference even after 4 days, so i am going to try and stick with it for at least a month. i am having dorito withdrawl bad though.
