Yup. From getting run over by a car while I was walking.

interesting this post was mentioned as I have been suffering aches and pains in my legs, arms and knees and sometimes my feet. I tis how I imagine arthritis to feel!
I am unsure if this is directly related to my endo. I have been to a podiatrist and had orthotics prescribed and made up and have not felt any relief.
I have glucosamine tablets which I am thinking of starting as well.
Any suggestions?

When I went to physical therapy, they told me that for every pound you weigh, it puts 4 pounds of pressure on your knees. My arthritis in my knees was greatly helped when I lost a lot of weight. Still acts up if we get rain or I walk toooo toooo much, but it's greatly improved. Also, when it was really, really bad (or if I go for long walks now), I use a cane.

thanks ouchy for the reply. Sorry to hear about your arthritis... im a very active person as in am at the gym about 6 times a week and walk every morning as well. I thought it was the activity so i cut back, and found that at rest the aches are seemingly worse. I have even woken up in tears during the night with the leg pain.
Anyhoo, i spent about $700 on orthotics so fingers crossed they do their job!!

Great! I found awesome relief in using muscle/arthritis creams and a knee brace. Fingers crossed for you!
