Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well. I have just returned from the clinic where I have seen an endo specialist and for the first time I have come back feeling very positive.
He did an internal examination and said he thinks I have nodul endometriosis?? As he can feel large lumps one of which he thinks is my overy being glued to something else.
He is doing a lap in Dec so we shall wait and see.
At least it has shown me that there are docs out there who take you seriously and know what they are talking about ... mind you it took me a while to find him!!

I'm glad you found a good doctor meldart! His ideas are probably right on but it's good that he said what he THINKS is there and is still doing surgery to find out for certain what's going on instead of declaring a diagnosis based on the exam! When doctors get too sure of themselves you know you're in trouble!

I phoned my docs secretary today and have my date for 21st December. I'm so lucky my medical insurance covers my treatment. She said that he has said the operation is going to be quite extensive as when he was doing an internal examination he felt a large lump over on the left hand sign which he thinks is either nodual endo or my overy stuck to me if that makes sense.
It's quite sad really but I'm quite looking forward to having it done and finding out exactly whats going on!!
