Since you first noticed symptoms/were diagnosed, has anyone noticed problems concentrating and paying attention, and especially remembering anything? I have noticed this quite a lot lately and it is really getting me down now, I feel like my brain has gone on holiday. I can't concentrate for even 2 minutes no matter how important something is to me. My work at university is suffering, there have been wild arguments with my boyfriend because he is convinced i am not interested/ ignoring him, and all the training i had at my new job has gone in one ear and out the other. My doctor knows but isn't really taking it seriously. I am panicking as this course at uni is really my last chance at turning my life around, my job is at risk because they think i'm not committed, and well my boyfriend who i love very much has come close to finishing things as my apparent disinterest is the last straw in what has been a bad few months. Being on HRT and GnRH treatment I know it may well be my medication, but I have heard the endo itself can sometimes have that effect. I'm now taking gingko biloba and multivits to help, but would appreciate any quick fix tips. Please help x

I have spells like that, but I'm not like that all the time and if anyone's ever noticed they haven't said anything. I haven't noticed anything in particular that helps other than sleep. Have you only had this problem since you started the medication? If so, maybe what you're taking isn't the best thing for you!

Yeah it wears off soon and so i'll be able to see whether it's that or or just me losing brain cells at a massive rate haha. I read somewhere endo can be the cause but its just gotten so much worse over the last year, as the endo pain has. I am just gonna have to work my arse off to keep up with all the work I have!

I know exactly what you mean, I went through a stage of feeling a bit fuzzy upstairs - like you said can't concentrate on anything, not really sure what you were thinking 2 mins ago that type of thing. I was having depo injection at the time I found my symptoms to be at their worst so I blame it on the medication

it's relief to know it's not just me and that I am just in thinking it's the injections too... I hate that it has such a big effect on all areas of my life. Was there anything that helped you to concentrate, I remember things like phone numbers to try to help with my memory but my mind wanders Mongolian style! I was brilliant at maths at GCSE now revisiting it I find that I'm lost and always on the verge remembering it... but it doesn't come back. Last 2 days I have felt more aware and like more wheels are turning in my head, could be a coincidence again but my injection is wearing off now too. Makes me wonder with the testosterone etc... is this what it's like inside a man's head? haha

Well the good part about it being the injections is that at least you know you'll get better when you stop the injections! If it was the disease itself who knows if you would ever get relief!
