Endo can be in the brain, but it's extremely rare from what I've read. If they thought it was a blood vessel, it's probably not endo. I hope everyone doesn't start freaking out about endo in the brain now!

How the hell does endo get to the brain..and wot would the symptoms be ?

They're not sure, exactly. Possible modes could be blood/lymph transport or possibly during cell division. Just like all the other places w/ endo (that are WAYYYY more common), no one knows for sure exactly how it gets there. I once asked my cousin's husband--he's a neurosurgeon--if he ever came across a case of endometriosis of the brain, and he told me that he had not in all of his years (40+ years of digging around in peoples' brains).

^When they're undergoing some forms of cancer treatment (maybe for prostate??? I dont' remember.)! Weird, huh!

I think it had to do with some type of high dose estrogen therapy. Not sure, though. I know I posted it on here somewhere.
