I live in the U.S., and this website had the wrong time for me, too. You can set the time to your time in your personal settings.

I was like that when I visited the states, I would send text messages home whilst we were on our way back to the hotel after dinner not realising it was early hours at home! The one time it really stuck out in my mind was when 9/11 happened, cos I was thinking that people would be waking up to this, whereas I had just had lunch. It was the thought that sorta made it real in my head xx

Yeah, I guess I got out of bed during the attacks, and because I was so sleepy it took quite some time for me to process what was happening. I had actually been awakened by a phone call from a friend in Australia, and then she told me to turn on the TV and I saw that a plane had crashed into one of the World Trade Center towers and all I could say was, "Well that's going to take a long time to clean up." It didn't even sink in with me that people must have died until my friend said something about it. Then the other plane crashed, and I was just thinking, "Well what are the odds of that?" Then the newscasters said it must be a terrorist attack...looking back it's hard to believe I was so slow to comprehend what was going on, but geez that's a lot to take in when you've just got up.

I remember my hubby (not married at the time) trying to wake me up, saying get up get up, you wont believe whats happened, a plane has crashed into the world trade centre. I was half asleep and not really listening, and have gone thats nice dear and went back to sleep.
When i got up, i saw it on tv, yeah was shocked, very shocked. My husband likes to tell the story to prove how much i love sleeping, but really, i wasnt listening, and im glad i didnt, the longer i took to find out the better.
