LOL! Oh, speaking of "L-O-L," Last night my husband and I were cracking jokes before we fell asleep (Yes, every night is like a slumber party!!!), and he asked, "Wouldn't it be funny if the world started speaking in internet jargon, like "LOL?" So of course I had to reply w/, "Lah-muh-faoh (LMFAO)!" ...To which he replied, "Rah-fuhl (ROTFL)!" Our poor neighbors!!!! This went on for a good two minutes or so!

Some people really do speak like that....I've heard my brother, when speaking to his friends, say "burb" (in other words, pronouncing BRB) when he was about to leave the room.

I have a lecture story as well. When I was in university, I was part of a group of off called SOCS, as in Society of off campus students. We played a game the first week back from CHristmas break called assasin. The bullet in the game was a persons dirties stinkiest socks balled up to throw. We each drew a name on Monday and kept the name secret. If you found your person with one witness (there can only be one witness) you threw your sock and hit them. They die, you get thier name and eventually only one person is left. This game gets seriously competative. I'm in lecture with a group of people. I had even convinced a friend not in the class to come with me because the guys I took the class with are pros at the game. Anyway, all of a sudden, It's just me, my friend and nick . I still don't remember anyone leaving (there were at least 10 of us). I jumped up in the middle of lecture, yelled something very obscene at him (I think I called hime a mangy dogfu*&ker) and valued over four or five rows of filled seats. He chased me. We ran around the building. I grabbed someone outside and dragged them (literally) back into lecture with me (I had a friend with me so that woud make two witnesses). Now, why I went back to class is beyond me. Good thing Dr. Murgatroid has a sense of humor.
