This might be a long read, so bare with me, am I ranting, I think so, but I have had a few weeks to calm down.
Well, Kayla had her appointment with Dr. # 4 and what a huge disappointment. Went so bad that once we left the office we didn't speak about his diagnosis or his rude manner for 3 days.
He asked all the questions, she gave all the detailed answers and this is what he came up with. He confirmed it wasn't endo,he said couldn't be cause she still experienced pain after the surgery even with nerve endings being cut. I suggested it may have not all been removed, because as it was told to me it was difficult for the surgeon because in young girls everything if so moist it was hard for her to determine what was endo and what wasn't. This guy disregarded every question had.
Kayla has had no period in 6 months and has been having night sweats, his diagnosis, stress.
Then he focused on her weight and not very kind about it. His exact words were " you are at least 50 pounds overweight and that is why you are in pain all the time, all my overweight patients have abdominal pain and leg pain,go with Bernstein or Jenny Craig loose weight and your pain will go away, I'm only telling you what no on else will".
Here I was, looking at this Dr.whom was about 290lbs himself and I'm like, buddy I know plenty of woman whom can loose a few pounds and they are not in this type of pain and she is 30 lbs over not no 50. And the weight came with this problem ,pain tired all the time, depression at a young age how could she not gain!!
Then came the appointment nightmare, he wanted to give her an internal check, well she freaked, she's still a virgin and she wasn't letting him near her. No one else has felt it necessary so i didn't think he needed to do it either. After her refusal and upset he made it clear to me, she had anxiety issues and needs to be medicated, and she has some underlying issues that need to be addresses because he has never seen an 18year old react that way over a vaginal exam, he had done them to 14 year olds and they handled themselves better than her. At that point I was ready to rip this guys head off.
So here I bring Kayla to see a Dr. in hopes of helping her and she walked away feeling down on herself and more depressed than she has ever been. I was so angry i couldn't talk to anyone s
for days.
What am I gonna do now for her, I am taking her back to the surgeon whom performed her other surgeries and Kayla is going to see if she can go in and look around. With all the new problems and pain worsening I am afraid that this may be spreading
