Hello to all of you. I'm new to this posting stuff and not quite sure how it all works. I was diagnosed with endo back in the 1980's. I had the laperoscopy and laperotomy and then in 1986 had a complete hysterectomy (everything gone). I also had adenomyosis (spelling?). It was a relief after the surgery because the pain was so much better - I felt like a new person. I did have to go back several years later because I had adhesions and that was causing pain. Pretty much, I had forgotten about it and have not even linked it to my newest symptoms and pain. About three years ago I started having pain in my thorasic spine/chest area that is severe. I have had a lot of tests and gone to Boston for a second opinion; about every specialist there is; blood tests gallore. And basically, they can't find much wrong. There is something wrong because the pain is unbearable. My daughter just got word that she might have endo (oh my god! - I didn't want that). Then I find out that it is hereditary - and, it can come back after hysterectomy. This is going to sound terrible, but I am hoping that this will explain my pain because I am seriously at the end of my robe and can't deal with this. I have had doctors tell me it is all in my head and my reply to them is "well fix it!" I need answers and I need to be free from the pain. It has taken over my life and I can't go on like this. Has anyone else had a problem like this (endo after hysterectomy - in the chest/upper adbomon area)? I need help - I don't know what to do.....
